What to Look for When Hiring a DJ

Hiring a DJ does not have to be a daunting task I have a few things to look for that can make it much easier.

The first thing to look for is experience. A good DJ or DJ team should have the experience to blend the music for all the guests at the wedding not just a handful. He should always have an assistant with him to make sure the night flows. He should have stage presence... when making announcements and introductions. He should have the professionalism not to sound annoying and over bearing.

Another thing to look for in a DJ is how well he works with the caterer and other vendors.... I cannot stress enough the importance of this. When everyone is on the same wave length the evening flows more smoothly and makes for a magical evening.

Last and definitely not least Your DJ needs to be fun...He needs to love what he does and most of all he has to have the ability to get the crowd going in the first ten minutes not just the last.
